The body of the most popular pop singer is decorated with five tattoos. All Christina Aguilera’s tattoos are located on different parts of the body.
The singer applied her first tattoo in September 2001. Christina Aguilera’s tattoo of a small flower in the Celtic style adorns the singer’s left wrist. The painted flower symbolizes eternal love and friendship.
At the turn of 2001 and 2002, to decorate her body, Christina made herself a second tattoo in the lower abdomen. The inspiration and co-author of the drawing is Jorge Santos, with whom the singer experienced her first feeling of true love.
Already the third tattoo Christina Aguilera made in honor of herself. So the singer’s neck is adorned with an italicized inscription “Xtina”, which displays an abbreviated version of the star’s name. The tattoo appeared all the same in 2002, when the singer was preparing for the release of the album “Stripped”.
In the summer of the following year, while preparing for the tour in support of this album, Christina Aguilera got a new tattoo. The star chose the left forearm as the place for her fourth tattoo.
The drawing is made in the form of inscriptions in two languages: Hebrew and Spanish. The Hebrew inscription stands for the initials – “YB”. “I love you forever” – this is the translation of the Spanish phrase “Te Amo Siempre”, executed in red. The man for whom this tattoo was made is Jordan Bratman.
In 2005, on the eve of the wedding of Christina and Jordan, the singer presented her future husband with a kind of gift in the form of a tattoo, which she made on the lower back. The inscription is also made in Hebrew and is a quote from the biblical book “Song of Songs”, the author of which is King Solomon. Literally the saying “Shira-Shirim” means “I belong to my beloved, and my beloved belongs to me.” Under this inscription, Christina inscribed the initials of her future husband – “JB”.
